Altara is a Singapore-based venture capital firm founded by operators-turned-investors with deep roots in Southeast Asia and decades of experience across global markets.

We started Altara with a belief that early-stage founders deserve more than capital. They deserve partners who’ve built, scaled, and invested across cycles—people who understand how hard it is to build something meaningful, and what it takes to endure.

We launched in 2020, but our journey have started long before that. Some of us have been investing since the 1990s. Others scaled platforms like Omni, Zynga, and Zuora from startup to IPO.

Together, we’ve backed over 100 companies, launched funds from scratch, and supported founders through moments of scale, stress, and everything in between.
