Jun Ho Bae

Jun Ho joined Altara in 2025, bringing nearly a decade of experience investing in technology startups across the APAC region. Previously, he led APAC investments at global early-stage platforms such as Tenity and Plug and Play, focusing on FinTech, InsurTech, and Digital Health. Jun Ho also played a key role in establishing and executing regional startup investments and strategic partnerships for AirAsia's corporate VC arm, across travel, consumer internet, logistics, and financial services.

Born and raised in Korea, Jun Ho spent over ten years in the US, earning degrees in Economics, Strategy, and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and is an avid football fan, supporting Liverpool FC and Atletico de Madrid.
