Teddy joins Altara with global investing and operating experience at the intersection of financial services and data. On the investing side, prior to joining the firm, Teddy was on the investment team at Arbor Ventures, a global multistage FinTech-focused fund, where he covered supply chain, payments, and capital markets opportunities across the US, MENA, and greater Asia.
On the operating side, he held early roles at Clair and Dashlabs.ai (YC W21), building product, and worked with Kaya Founders to incubate a FinTech startup in the Philippines.
Originally from the Philippines, Teddy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts - Dual Major in Economics and Cognitive Science. Beyond venture, Teddy loves all things matcha, hiking, and music.
